The Saiyan race

Los Saiyajin (サ イ ヤ 人, Saiya-jin), also known as Saiyans oSaiyanos, are the race's strongest warriors that exists in the series Dragon Ball, they inhabited the Planet Vegeta until its destruction at the hands of Freezer.

Etymology 

The word of Japanese origin Saiya-jin (サ イ ヤ 人 Jap) as its suffix denotes jin, is a gentilicio. Thus the word means inhabitant of Saiya, native of Saiya Saiyao person. As for the meaning of saiya it is a pun in Japanese, changing the order of the syllables the word yasai (野菜 vegetalJap) becomes saiya. Names of the Saiyan known Purebred derived from the Japanese pronunciation of plant names in English.

homeworld 

The home planet of the Saiyans is Planet Sadla. In the universe 7 Saiyans lived here, but his planet was destroyed by internal discord, but in the universe 6 the planet still exists. In the seventh universe, Planet Plant was conquered by the Saiyan after the defeat of the Tsufuru, and the name was changed to "Planet Vegeta" in honor of its most powerful warrior and ruler, King Vegeta.

Artificial Saiyan 

They are beings who apparently are Saiyan. For example: Cell, which has cells Goku, Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz, Gohan or Bio Broly, this being a clone of Broly.


Impure saiyajin 

They are Saiyan, but has a parasite that mixes his cell with him:

Social class Saiyan 

High Class Saiyan 

High class Saiyans are what birth have a high power to fight. These grow on the Planet

Basic characteristics of the Saiyans

Overview

Saiyans are an alien race of physical appearance very similar to humans, but the force is greater than that of a human being and have a like a monkey tail, and its weakness (in Warriors high class this weakness disappears), the most prominent features in a Saiyan are in addition to tail, hair is usually dark except for the case of Trunks (that having human mother, inherited the color of her hair), which no changes appearance for all his life, except for cases like Vegeta (who would cut hair) or Nappa (which is completely bald by age). Only when transformed in some types of Super Saiyan (Levels 1 and 2) hair turns a golden color, and after a few years stops growing, making it more like a mane (this is the only feature that is not shared by hybrids subsequently born).
